Jay,
What program are you talking about?
Hello All,
I drew a part in the wrong orientation. Say you had a rectangle that was 1 inch along X and 4 inches along Y. But what I should have drawn was a rectangle 4 inches along X and 1 inch along Y. I know I can change my view by rotating the part but that does not actually change the X and Y values. Is there any way to actually change the part so now X = 4 and Y=1???
Thanks
Jay

Just go to your sketch and change the dimensions.

Are you talking about the dimension tool that you use to size lines circles and such? I just made up the rectangle example for simplicity; the part I drew is complicated lots of 3D contours, added planes. I was hoping I could just rotate the part about the X axis and have the software change all the X’s and Y’s.

Thanks Toby D. That’s what I did. I'll be more careful in the future.
