1. ## Alibre Training CD's

Well I opened up the Training CD package when in arraived Thursday. 6 CD's chock and block full of Video and Walkthough text examples. I've gotten a couple of them done on the first CD, it should keep me busy for quite a while.

I was thinking about working on the Alibre Challenge. I have an idea that would present well, just not sure how to start. ie one big peice, millions of little ones, combination?

At this point it would appear that the easier way is lots of smaller parts added to an assebly. Which leads to a where to start question. I have the basic shape drawn, how do you make a triangle extruded to a smaller triangle. Think boat hull.

What's the link to the Alibre forum? I didn't see it when I logged in to their site.

Thanks

Possibly extrude with a taper, but most likely you'll want to loft it.

Ger21,

Thanks now I have to find that training demo. LOL

I was wondering if I cut the hull into 1' section and drew each one foot area and than somehow link the edges.

I don't know at this point, I'll keep playing with it.

Their website is here http://www.alibre.com/xpress/forum/

You can also find it in the Help Main Menu at the top right of the GUI.

BTW for a Boat Hull I would use the Loft Boss or at least try it first. I'm a little new to the Parametric Monster.

Cheers!!!!!!

5. Here is a very good set of tutorials that could really make your day. These are from starting to more advanced. Some things may not be capable in the Xpress version though.
