Not an easy thing to do?
Got a silly question. When you add multiple instances of a part in an assembly, how do you edit one of the parts without it making the changes to all of them?
Thanks!

You could create a configuration within the part, if you have a version of Alibre that supports that ability. The configuration would be the same part, but with some dimension changes or extra or fewer features.

Don't have that unfortunately. Just saved everything as discreet parts. Kind of silly you can't do it within an assembly
It's not silly. It's working the way it's meant to. Changes to a part have to propagate to all instances of that part, otherwise you'd be spending hours updating each assembly by hand.
Since you don't have the configuration function in Alibre, your best option is to copy the part file to a new filename and edit the copy. Then you need to go back to your assembly, and replace the one part you want to change with the modified copy.
