    Converting Alibre Files to Solidworks2010

I just came across a great 9x20 lathe assembly, but it's modeled using Alibre. Does anyone know how to convert the file to Solidworks?

    Thx

Care to share the files :-)

I think you would have to save the parts as IGS in alibre and import into Solidworks. At least that is what I have done in past in alibre to open in solidworks.

You can save each part out as a Solidworks Part from within Alibre but would have to rebuild the assembly in SolidWorks if you wanted to have it as an assembly in SolidWorks. I do this to transfer Alibre parts into SurfCam. Works great
