Bump? Not surpriing there has't been amy replies to this as I have ot found anything on the net either. Still hoping.
I like to make cabinetry and furniture from time to time and often cut the parts on my cnc router. I use Alibre PE to draw alot of the "boxes" with the shelf holes, hinge holes, dados, etc. Currently I export each part to dxf file format and manually nest them before cutting.
I have seen several packages for solidworks that will take an assembly and export to dxf. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced addon for Alibre that will do the same thing?

As you may know, Alibre is now known as Geomagic Design. It's still basically a 3D program, but it will produce 2D drawings from instances of your 3D parts, I think these drawings can be saved in DXF format (in Design Elements), but they may not be suitable for cutting out on your router without some modification. There are a series of training videos on YouTube that explain some of this; here's one:
