So about 2 weeks ago we finished the retrofit on a knee mill with the Ajax Mill kit. WOW! The kit was very easy to install, and we were making chips in no time. This unit ran fine until this morning; I went to set a tool height and suddenly the computer rebooted. Now the darn thing won’t boot………I’m getting the following error during boot: CRC ERROR --SYSTEM HALTED— Does anybody have any ideas? Or experienced a similar problem. I’m feeling pretty dead in the water right now. |

| TR, Hello. This error occurs when the operating system has become corrupt, possibly due to an improper shutdown of the PC. Just like Windows, Linux has operations going on in the background, and if the system is shut down at just the wrong moment, a major error can occur within the OS. You have a couple of choices to get you back up and running. Give us a call at AjaxCNC and we'll help you get straightened out.
