USB mouse on Centroid / Ajax

Hi to all. I have a new Centroid control Version 2.61 and I want to use a mouse in conjunction with the Centroid DXF import option. There was a question on this forum in 2007 asking about the mouse also. Instructions were given to (add) the mouse in the Linux program. Does this still hold true with the new versions or can you just plug it in? Anybody using the DXF import? Do you like it? Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Joe,

If you have a USB mouse (plugged into a usb port) just plug in the mouse and you are good to go.

If you have a PS2 mouse, hold down the alt key and press the "F6" key once it will open a terminal window (if you HOLD down the F6 key, you are going to open a LOT of windows) Now type "addmouse" (without the quotes) press enter. Power off and restart.
