They show a #3 morse taper which is most likely the id taper of the spindle. You need the taper of the od of the spindle, probably D1-4 or A1-4.

If you are still interested, I'll be happy to forward the manual to you -though it is big, about 6MB. How large a file does your email provider support? I will also forward additional photos as well if you would still like to see them.

I truly do apologize for any misunderstandings. I don't recall a request for a written quote and the last I had spoken with you was late on the 18th to remind you that the shipping deadline for end-of-year delivery (as you originally requested) was the 19th. You indicated that you needed to speak with Patrick but that you weren't in any hurry and that, if you were going to do anything at all, it would probably be after the New Year. I thought we were waiting until the New Year to see where things stood and then continue from there.

To reiterate; as I mentioned in my previous email, the spindle through hole is 30mm, the MT 3 taper you questioned (correctly) is a misprint and the taper on the tailstock is MT 2. Also, i have confirmed that we offer only the 4" chuck. The original shipping quote from BAX Global was $860.20 BAX #Q4170041. <- The quote is valid for 30 days (the original quote was dated 17 DEC 2008)
