    MDI Questions

The controller has some great features but what it is lacking is in the MDI?

This might be a bad example, so what I am looking is can you re-run a previous block and change a dimension or m/g code
    Lets say I enter"

    G54X30Y30Z-5A45C60

    did a cycle start

but then I wanted to Do a

    G55X30Y30Z-5A30C65

Is this possible without writing the entire block over again.

The current version of MDI does not allow for this, however, this feature is slated to be included in a future release and will operate similar to DOS where the UP arrow key will scroll through the command history. Stay tuned...

Thanks for the reply, can't wait for the new release.

There is one more question for you, I am running a five axis and there has been numerous crashes because for some lame reason the tool check is right next to the feed hold button. So when we go to hit feed hold there has been instances that someone hits the tool check button do to the way we are machining the part and sometime our reflexes are off.

So is there a way to override the tool check because we never use it anyway.

If not is it safe to drill a couple small holes below the tool check button to put a cover of some sort there.
