Default Operating CNC router at 25mtr/minute

    Hello There
It took me 3month to build cnc router
I am wondering where did missed
    My specs are as follows
    Working area:4*8 feet
Actuation:TBI ball screws 3210 2510 and 1610 for xyz axis respectively And hiwin linear guide and bearing.
    Stepper motor: 1200oz-in (4.5 amp & 70v) and drive are of 6 amps 80v ac )
Power supply: i have provided 80v and 6amp to each stepper /driver.
I am running my cnc router 6mtr/m
Successfully when drives is set on 6amp
My stepper motor heats like hell
When i reduce current my max speed also get reduced.
Recently my friend showed broucher of some company.
Company is claiming that max speed will be 25mtr/m that seriously gives me an anxiety. This is hard to believe where did i missed. Why i cant achieve this speed.
And one more thing is that they are using rack and pinion.
    How this is possible.
My steppers stalls whenever i try to go above 6mtr/m

If you want 25m/min, you need to be using AC servo motors and ballscrews with 25-32mm pitch, or rack and pinion.
You'll never be able to spin large stepper motors anywhere near as fast as you'd need.

If you run 4.5A motors at 6 amps, the motors will not last long.

    Thanks I agree with you
But i guess giving current is not in out hand it is taken by motor(source).
Is it like my motors will consume more current than it is rated?
I am sure if it is so there will be problem.

The motors don't control the current, the drives do. You need to set the drive current to match the motor's ratings.

    I did same
But it reduced my max speed by 2000mm/minute.
Is there any way to make it more fast.

Buy motor with a higher current rating, and drives that can provide a higher voltage.
Get some 7 amp motors, and maybe drives like these:
    https://www.automationtechnologiesin...vers/kl-22083/

But you still won't get anywhere near 25m/min. I think the best you could hope for would be 8-10m/min, but you may not even see that.
If you want more speed, get some 3000 rpm 750w ac servos with a 2:1 belt reduction. That would give you 15m/min, if you don't have any issues spinning your screws at 1500rpm.

    Thanks
That means i only need to buy ac servo motors and drives.
As you said i am already using reduction 1:2(timing belt and pulley)
    I am rotating nut.
That cured my motor stalling and vibration problem.

What's the stepper motor you are using? It may because of your motor torque is too small. Try to replace a big torque motor. If your CNC router processing wood, 8000mm/min or 20000mm/min speed is normal
