I use edgecam and find it very useful and able to do anything I have wanted.
It is NOT a cad package, and not advertised to be one. It can do simple tasks, but for anything else, another cad package is better to use.
For lathe work, I have not seen a better package than edgecam. There are tons of software packages available for milling, all with advantages, and most probably good packages. |
