I had purchased a Haas TM1 brand new and paid cash for it. After 800 hrs. The control software locked up on me. It is not just for lease or loan situations. I called my Haas dealer and after I read the serial number to me, they give me a code, typed it in and was ready to go in about 30 minutes from start to end.after that I never got that alarm again. The 200 hrs. Lock is for functions like rigid tap, high speed machining and few other options.
