Hi all, I will be starting my CNC project real soon and at the moment I am in the designing and resourcing stage and have had an idea. I am building a JGRO style CNC and it will have a cutting envelope of 32"X18"X 3-4 inches.
I was planning on using 1 inch gas pipe for the X axis then it dawned on me why not use 1 square tubing and surely this would have less flex? as there are 4 corners which technically should be more rigid, would I be thinking this would be correct or not. I will also be using the skate bearing and aluminum angle slides for this on all axis if it helps. Kammo1 |
