I got a length of 1/2" 6TPI from my local bolt shop. Was $72 for 12feet
The nuts were going to cost me $12 each which I didnt want to pay. Turns out 6TPI acme thread isnt the best thread for clamping pressures anyway. I cut them to length and got a local machine shop to turn them down to 10.5mm and put a M10 thread on. Much simpler and works great. |
