    Default 80/20 Canadian Sources

Does anyone know of a place to buy 80/20 in the Vancouver BC area? IF not how about an American dealer who will ship for as cheep as possible? (I can drive down to WA to pick it up)

I forgot which overstock websites carry it..

    Default Check out www.snbinc.ca

We sell and distribute across Canada similar extrusions to 8020 if not better, not to mention cheaper than 8020 and Bosch.

Thumbs up BETTER Dealer in Quebec

I have referred a bunch of people to this company and they ALWAYS leave happy, and not with an empty wallet! They have a huge inventory, and can cut extrusions to size too:

I went to rocky mountain in aldergrove and seen the setups of 80/20. Company is also in the business of selling and installing machinery for the wood paneling industry.

Cannot wait to get some $ to buy some 80/20 and see what I can use it for. Recombinant bike frame, sliding platform, tool box construction perhaps? Ideas are endless.

    Default Rocky Mountain

When I was discussing purchasing some 80/20 from Rocky Mountain Motion Control, I discovered that they are just drop shipping from 80/20 in Columbia City, IN. I still had to pay UPS shipping which was ridiculous at $127 for 55lbs ground shipped. I would have to pay brokerage fees as well which are min
$35. So, I'll continue looking. Only thing I was looking for was 2x50" 3030 and 3x48" 1530 extrusion. SNB Alum Solutions looks interesting though. It's unfortunate that he only sells metric material though. Most kit parts are specificed in fractional. I'm not sure which parts from finelineautomation would work. I'm a little concerned that the rack which I want to use along with the r&p drive unit will not be compatible with SNB's metric extrusion.

Have you tried 80/20 on eBay or Amazon? May be able to get a better deal.

Better deal, but shipping is the killer. UPS sucks for cross-border shipping as well as size restrictions. I'm currently expanding my table and needed some 9ft long 1545's.. I never would have gotten them across the border as then are too long to be shipped... one piece of 1530 54" long cost me 45.93 canadian. I don't think I could save very much from the 80/20 store on ebay.
