I'm looking to build a CNC router in maybe the 2x4 size. I don't need extreme precision, I'll only be milling simple wood shapes in sheet goods.
I saw a pic of a unit that looks like it keeps materials to a minimum but couldn't find any more on it.
I'd love to find a kid where all I have to do is add my own extrusions and screw things together. Don't know if that exists.
Without going into too much detail, I do have a source for unlimited extrusions I can check for straight and wait until I come across material that is acceptable. I'll have to pay for what I take but at least I can find straight stuff.
Ideas?
