PhCNC LS generates G-code. You can find comparison between CopperCam (recommended to you above) and PhCNC Ls on this page:
http://www.accuratecnc.com/software_tests.html. There, you will find also useful links for demo or trial versions of these and other software. You can test yourself and see which one matches best your need. Regarding the price, I have no idea, because we bought PhCNC together with a machine. Check on the site or contact Accuratecnc.
