Hello Mark,
I am new here and totally new to CNC PLUS not an electronics or computer whiz. I have acquired an inoperative Partner IV with a Centurion V controller. The computer is a Pentium S and it has an LCD monitor of more recent vintage than the mill itself, which is 1991. This machine was dead when purchased. We now have the monitor working and the computer boots up.However, when I try to "Home" the machine I get error "450" which calls for "reset drives" and/or "escape". Sometimes when pushing the "reset" one hears a contactor click, sometimes not. Cannot actuate spindle or tool change. In the console, there is a D connector hanging with no cable to mate with it. I assume this occurred when the monitor was upgraded sometime in the past.
Sorry to be so long-winded. Any suggestions? |
