I too have a HF 1.5 hp mill/drill. I found stepper motors at
www.jameco.com that are advertised at 4.8vdc, 1.5amp, 8100 g-cm (around 400oz/in, I think). I also found drivers at
www.durhamrobotics.com. Does anyone know anything about those drives? They are about $90 apiece. I just need an easy "electronics guide" for the perfect components for an easy retofit. Any suggestions?
