I agree at a 1:5 maybe 1:6 ratio they would probably work check the
torque curve on the motor to find the RPM at wich they still produce
adequate power from that you can calculate what kind of speeds
you could get with those ratios.
I would guess about 15-20 IPM is about what you could expect.
Maybe O.K. for a patient hobby guy but definatly out of question
for any kind of commercial use.
Going with more powerful motors will require different and more
expensive drivers also figure to double your estimates.
