I spent a little time over the weekend checking the wiring in my TCL-240, I found that there are two saftey interlock switches in circuit with the spindle speed control run/stop signal. One on the back of the pully cover door, the other on the right side of the perspex cover near the hinge.
The other end of the saftey signal wire goes to the double relay used to select forward and reverse. If this circuit is not complete the speed controler won't start feeding any voltage to the spindle motor.
I will try and get time to properly trace out the entire circuit for the machine. Then I can post it. my machine is hard to get to at the moment, can only get to it Sat. mornings if I havent got other duties.
