Wow.....6.5M x travel. You will have to go R&P. As mentioned already Ahren has excellent quality items for use with 8020 aluminum extrusions. I would say this would be your best bet. The Y and Z can easily be done with basic lead screws and nuts.
Take a look around the zone to get the juices flowing.
You are going to want a gantry type machine since you probably don't want to make 6 meters of room on either side of the machine to move the material/table back and forth. |
