What sort of taxes will kill you? Can you please specify?
A VAT/IVA of 20% and a very nominal import duty are the only real taxes, which you'll have to pay anyway. If someone sells you any machine without those, that is illegal, and the general rule of thumb is to stay away from such sellers.
