Running in 1/8 steps means that it will take 8 microsteps to equal one full step, Your motor takes 200 full steps to make one revolution,,,, multiply by 8 you get 1600,,, You are using 1'4-20 rod, so you need 20 revolutions to travel one inch,,,, 1600 times 20 is 32000. Punch that into your software, and see what you get. |
