As for an unregulated power supply, I don't know of an advantage other than price. I saw the KL-600-48 48V/12.5A $139.95 115V /230V But I was under the impression to avoid switching power supplies, can't remember where I heard this. Hopefully the others here can explain this. |
The question should be: Is there any advantage to a regulated supply? And the answer is "No".
