You read the manual 5 times, shoot, thats better than I did. I found that it was better to read a bit, then do a bit, and you will actually understand what you are reading much better.
The first thing you will need to do is configure your ports and pins to suit your driver card. Read about only that in the manual. The drivers you have should also have some information regarding the prots they need to use.
Next you will need to set the steps per unit for your steppers. That means you will need to work out and then tell Mach2 how many steps your stepper motors will need to go in order the make each axis travel 1 inch, if you are using imperial, or how many steps to travel 1mm if you are using metric.
