New Member, NE VIC, semi retired.
Thought I'd build an Engraver/Mill, probably going about it all wrong, but I
don't care. At least it will keep me off the streets for at least 15 minutes.
I'm into recycling, if you can get it for free or little cost why waste money ?
Have around 60% of the parts for an A3 or slightly larger table 2.5 - 3D unit.
Latest aqusition a cheap Chinese 4 axis controller and using Mach3.
After a week or so of testing (lack of or misinformation supplied from China)
I have the board fully functioning on Mach3 and calibrated my motors.
I also knocked up an X, Y, Z, axis + Spindle, DB-15 Port Remote Controller.
20mm linear base rails are next on the list-
Meanwhile I'll have a coffee and check out the wallpaper in here, huge forum !
