This customer's sub spindle was wet inside due to the high pressure coolant fracturing to microscopic particles and getting inside the sub spindle housing. His coolant was attacking and softening the belts. Tightened them a couple of times, then replaced them. Tightened them again, then he sold the machine. In many cases the coolant evaporates leaving a residue that is gummy.
