I was going to suggest that one or more of the rollers on which your head trolley might be damaged, non-circular, off centre, or have some dirt on it. However if there is slack such that the trolley can wobble, that is probably the problem. My machine, a different model, has some small screws that can be used to adjust this such that there is no play in the trolley. If your head/trolley moves in the X direction on the beam, there should be no play in the Y direction.
