Thanks for quick reply. Yes, I removed the drive from the cabinet , and applied 12 Volts DC from a car battery to get a nice clean supply. it just does not light up. computer does not see it either . I removed the cover and inspected it. I see no signs of burnt components. checked the power fuse. its ok. It was behaving badly for a while, I fear the worst. |
