The settings I use currently are 7 bits, 2 stop, parity - none, we've tried xon/xoff and xmodem (which are listed as two different options on the Hass, I thought the were the same?)and I have tried baud rates from 1900 to 38600. I have tried hyperterminal, virtgibbs7.07 and predetor editor.
Cable is a standard xmodem cable have even tried a straight thru cable
Again we can go from computer to machine but not from machine to computer.. also we have use this exact setup from machine to machine and it works great..
I was thinking it had something to do with the windows transmitting protocal or any delay the computer might be having.
Also maybe a problem going from 25pin cable to computer which has a 9pin serial so there is an adapter for this...
a frustrating problem to be sure. and I appreciate your help.
