Not knowing what you are using for commuications does not really help but here is a thought some software offer diffrent setting for upload and download.
Check to see if this possiable on your software and that they are the same settings.
Usally testing DNC set ups if I have download then upload will follow.
So there has to be a bad toggle some were.
Can you give more info on your setup cables software that kind of stuff?
