Well, the HF router is one I had on hand - you're right. Thinking about a Bosch Colt - any thoughts? (a refurb for $75 on amazon!) The real problem is the design for the router mount - I am thinking about two Vee shaped pieces clamping together, or something else.
I am very happy with the design of table otherwise.
I've noticed that while executing an actual gcode program, the whole table has a tendancy to wobble and shake just a bit from the movement of the gantry and carriage. I am thinking of some side bracing, or even attaching a corner to a floor joist support pole in my basement - but then the router noise might be be transmitted to the whole house!
