Welding manipulator table | | We have a turn table in our welding room that also tilts. It has an arm that they have to manually adjust to set the location of the gun. I have been given the task of creating a NC arm for it. I have not done this kind of set-up before . I am thinking of using a rack and pinion and stepper motors for the control aspect of it. But I don’t know what kind of steppers, drivers or controllers; I am also looking at just having a digital read out and a knob for the adjustments, i.e. no computer just a circuit board. Any help would be great. Thanks, Brian
