Incase it has escaped your attention, "guydrisc" IS asking someone for help... everyone on this forum!
YOU are the one that tried to tell this person what machine he has, when it seemed clear to me that he did not have the machine you were referring to, fancy thinking that you could order a machine and not notice that the suppliers delivered something totally different!?!
OK, you may find servicing a machine easy, but there are a lot of people out there that only know how to use their machine, not how to fix them!
People like to ask for help on this forum and would like a sensible, constructive, bit of guidance.
Sorry Guydrisc, but I do not know how to fix or overcome this problem for you. ATC lockups can be tricky to overcome sometimes on an Okuma.
There is ways of resetting and overriding the ATC sequence number via the Parameter screens, but you have to know how to "Turn On" the relevant screens and then be VERY careful to not try to do an action that the machine is not ready for, things can break!
Do you not have access to an Okuma qualified service agent in your area?
Sounds like it is a job for them to assist you with, make notes on how the problem is fixed, ready for next time the air stops on you mid tool change.
