Hi Banctebobn;
Thanks for your post. We almost never respond to post on the Zone for 3 reasons; 1) We sponsor this open forum for you the public interested in conversing about IH Mills. 2) We at IH start a thread such as the Made In America with a great deal of pride in Our products the USA and its workforce. If the post are cool we enjoy them. In this case there were a lot of post that tried to demean IH and the USA. We would never ever respond to that type of post, but this is an open forum and we believe that the viewers see through this type of post and take care of it themselves. 3) We supply IH customers with whatever help they need, anytime. They all have our support phone # to use at will and they do.
We broke rule #1 by writing this post, but we thought it good to tell everyone how we think at IH. We work very hard at keeping our customers happy and on occasion because of different stories or mitigating circumstances we get a bad post. On the Zone this seems to be the occasional norm as you all can see, but we let it go because this is Your Forum and we know that the vast majority of you enjoy the IH Forum. By the way we answer 500 to 600 emails a week and if we miss yours please try it again.

We might as well break rule #1 again. Thanks for your support. Our basic mill is made in China, but 100% of the CNC System is either made by us or from an American Manufacturer also made in the US. And our electronics as is the nature of things is 95% made in the USA. We usually have 50 Manual mills in stock so that is never a problem. We build the Turnkey CNC's 1 at a time at IH in New Britain. We use the casting from the manual mill to build the CNC.
