I'd like to be there, unemployment has slowed the spending.
Swapping/buying surplus stuff at the 9th bbq looked like a good direction for future events, like the car clubs do.
Even obscure stuff like momentary switches are being charged $3 ish at tricky dicky and jaycar.
Old hoarded stuff from a machinery merchant if the crowd numbers would entice him to get out of bed early on a sunday.
Does anybody have a rong fu 30,31,40 with the column missing?
Or an old pantograph with the copy arm missing?
Nema 34, 42 steppers?
Old touchscreen lcd panels?
If you hire a hall you'd have to secure some entrance fee to cover rent, unless kevin(?) was cool about using his driveway again.
Or tie it into a swap meet for another type of club, like, model rail or at an rc car club car park on a sunday (dandenong?) (240v power?).
In a car park you wouldnt have to unload the machine, run it on the trailer.
A few thoughts. |
