    5M Error

I'm trying to get a Matsuura MC-660V with Fanuc 5m control going.
When I power it up I get the following on the display and no buttons will
    do anything.

    Voltage

I checked the phase rotation with a cheap rotation tester from ebay. Pretty sure it's correct. The incoming 3 phase is from a phase converter. It's balanced to within a few volts between the legs but the voltage is around 245v. There are 5 transformers I've found to change voltage taps on. The 2 for the x, y and z servo drives only have 200 and 220v taps. They are marked 90V on the output. I'm getting about 102 to 106v between phases to the drives. Is that too high?

I have a maintenance manual and buck/boost transformer on the way. I should get the voltage down to very near 220v. Hope it works.

    It Lives!

Turns out 2 cables were swapped in the fanuc cabinet. The maintenance manual has a diagram of what cables connect to what board.

Glad to here you got it fiqured out! Does'nt look like much help in this Forum. I started a thread about a month ago, as I'm having trouble with a 5T. Can't get the spindle to start. Those Matsurra's are great machines. I had a MC-760
    real workhorse.

There is usually a lot of help in this forum but unfortunately there is not a lot of traffic in the 5T/5M forum. You did post in the proper spot so kudos to you but not a lot of people visit this area. I stumbled across your post here and really don’t have an answer but just wanted to let you know you may want to post it right in the “Fanuc” forum that gets a bit more traffic.
