Thanks! I've taken a bunch of pictures over the last little while, ever since getting a new camera (Fuji S5000, because I know someone will ask).
To be honest, we didn't cut the entire spiral. If you take a closer look at both the first and second picture, you'll notice that only about half of it is being machined. Or to be more clear, we were just taking out some material. The company that gave us the work actually had guys grinding away at it. I think after about 2 days, they finally gave it over to us, to machine out, not only to make it faster, but look much better as well. I believe we used Zlevel roughin/finishin to do it. Came out pretty good in the end.
But to answer you question I can't recall exactly how long, but I think we had it on the machine for about 2-4 days.
I do have some more pictures at home, I'll make sure to upload them, with some other work as well. Its been a while since I was last on CNCzone, and forgot how picture hungry many members (and moderators) are
