Making an educated guess, I am assuming that you are using Win95 or possibly Win 98 or a later version (like XP). I am also assuming that you are running in a DOS window.
True DOS Versions 5.0 for 6.1 even at clock speeds of 33MHz (in my opinion) will outperform Windows versions hands down running pure assembly code. Also, this statement is made relative to running only one (1) application at a time. |
