Do you know what Galil card it is running? One thing I use for trouble shooting is the (free) Galil DMCTerm program which is a program that allows you to enter commands directly to the card for trouble shooting etc. You can enter the two letter Galil commands as listed in the Card manual and test the amps and motors. You have to be carefull with this as the overtravels etc are not in play.
Does the motor(s) just quit with no sound from them, or does it sound like they are trying to turn?
