I want to be able to switch out parts and redesign if I need to without having to call the company and ask what parts were used in the design. Annoying. Second, this isn't exactly a bolt together machine. There are a bunch of parts in the design that need to be machined. Nothing is terribly difficult, but if you can't machine parts, the build becomes much more difficult.
Save your money. I don't think these plans are worth it.

Everybody
Thanks for all the info. Its going to save me some headaches and money. I do like the table design from the boat one. and probably will weld up a table like that to start with using joes hybrid design. Joes looks like its the most supported one. I have used the cnc at work and have done a lot of milling pieces etc, so hopefully i wont screw this one up (GRIN).
I looked at the mechmate plans and they look a little compicated and not specific enough for me. I read blueprints all day long and they still had me confused.
So what im going to attempt is to mod joes hybrid for use with a 4x8 table because that what i really want and if I dont blow everything up and cut off an arm and a couple of legs, ill post my build. Hopefully, i wont have to beg for too much help.
Thanks to everyone for all your input
