Finally got my 4th running.
The install goes like this for a machine that is not prewired.
The kit includes harness, two cards, eproms, inhibitor board, air solenoid, and breaker, and dummy plug for when you want the table off. It took about two hours or so to install, not too tough, you have to follow a schematic, but there are only about a dozen and a half wires and a lot of them are numbered already. A servo card gets bolted on, wire harness gets plugged into that, a axis card goes in after installing EPROMS, and two plugs go into that. The air brake solenoid gets bolted on and the air lines slide right in with quick connects. 4 wires go into that.
The breaker and inhibitor PCB get hooked up, about 10 wires following the schematic. Reset the machine for 4 axis, air break, and 90:1 using SETP, restart with dummy plug or table hooked up. |
