Your part based on your description might be more cost effective to be extruded and then cut, not injected. People will probably disagree with me, however the objective is to make money for yourself and not for everyone else. It sounds like you would like to commit to approximately $12,500.00. I can tell you my first ventures had the highest learning curve and cost the most. That money can be put to work differently with far more value. Lastly,
Although this process is not typical for your size peice you might want to consider it. Tooling costs would be substantially less. Hell you could probably build the extruder over a couple of week period. It might be a two step process anyway shoot me an email.
