Well, I know nothing of business practices and tax laws over there but a big problem here is once something is a business the world descends on you wanting a piece of the action. Banks will not cash checks unless you have a way overpriced business account with them, auto tags are commercial rather than personal, insurance is higher....the list goes on and on.
To counter this a lot of people with one man shops or who are tentatively getting their feet wet in a new line of business will just use their name as the business name.
For these reasons I'd make sure the business name was something along the line of Arvid Brodin Tech or Design, or something that would not raise eyebrows when you say " Just make the check out to Arvid Brodin." |
