This is a false positive. A few antivirus programs throw up an alert because I use encryption software (EXECryptor) to discourage reverse engineering. This is a common problem when using encryption and/or compression software.
Tonight I submitted a copy of MEPro to
www.virustotal.com for analysis by thirty-seven different antivirus programs. The results are contained in the attached pdf.
I have never had a verified report of a virus in my software. It's bad enough that users have to worry so much about a virus infection - but the developer also has to worry about crackers and false positives!
I'll submit the file to AVG so they can fix their definitions.
