seams to me that it is the encoder of the y-axis motor that have broken, or connections to it. (if the encoder is totaly disconnected it will run the axis at full speed until it stops by the emergency switch..) I bought an encoder from V.alberti this summer, turned out it wasent the problem. the encoder counted but didnīt stop where it should and therefor showed an error message. turnd out it was the servocard for the motor(located in the computerbox) that haved broken beacuse it was a fault in the motor itself.
Cost for an encoder should be about 200$ I think..
