It depends on what you want to do with the laser. That's like asking "do I need a tractor or a race car" and not saying what you want the vehicle for. The vector cutting is part of the software but you will need to mount whatever you are cutting on a honeycomb or some other grid-like stuff so the beam can pass through without damage to the back side of the material. If you are a little more specific with your needs I am sure people here can be more help. If money is no object then get everything, so you will have it if and when you get a need for it. Most people have no need for a rotary unless they are doing things like pens or drinking glasses etc. Dave
