Some years ago I bought a combo machine from Grizzly via their local representative Busy Bee Tools. Ever since I regret having done that.
The local crowd have used it as an opportunity to print money because there has been a non competition agreement between the two. They don't stock spares unless it's a model they usually stock and Grizzly does not accept CA cards. So the moment you need spares, you are going to pay a premium.
To illustrate when the drive gears strip you can get them from Grizzly for about $3-4 each plus shipping. That's pretty good and quite a common item to break. However you can get them via the local crowd on special order for $30 each plus shipping. It also took two to three weeks longer than getting it directly.
If you work during the week like I do, it's almost impossible to get across the border to get spares because they are only open weekdays.
My advise, get local from a dealer that will support you that does not load the price.
