I have my problems resolved now.
I'm running @ 55v and the current set resistor is around 13k to give me 1 1/2 amps. It's been quite awhile since I set it up.
Working very well with Tcnc4.
I have 1/2 x 10 acme rod and homemade teflon rod nuts, I cut at about 35" min. I have small bits 1/8", 3/32" so any faster tends to snap them with deep cuts in wood.
I had to mess around with the acc, and start speeds.I also replaced my Z motor size#23, and I was only cutting at 1/2 depth. Turns out it's a 400 step motor, can't stop the shaft by hand, even on the spider coupling body....Jim |
